About the Studio
Located in Alston, nestled between Longridge and Grimsargh, Healthy Best You was purpose-built to house our Pilates apparatus, including our impressive Reformers.
Pilates apparatus offers a unique approach, introducing controlled instability to each exercise. The Reformer, with its spring-loaded moving platform, particularly enhances this effect, supporting small, precise movements that strengthen the body while integrating the six Pilates principles: Centering, Control, Breath, Flow, Precision, and Concentration.
As well as Reformers we also have the full range of equipment Joseph Pilates invented - all of which are included in all our Pilates sessions.
Our studio is dedicated to fostering movement, with a belief that everyone deserves the ability to move well. We work to empower each client to reach their movement potential, no matter their experience or background.
Our classes are open to all levels. So even if you’re a complete beginner, don’t hesitate to book in and join us!
Cath has been teaching Pilates since 2001, originally starting evening and weekend classes at Alston Hall Adult Education Centre and Alderbank Physiotherapy. Cath also worked in a very busy NHS Pain Management Service where she was the lead Pilates teacher.
We hold regular social events, from walks, meals out, and places to visit.
